Trump's Granddaughter Gets Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

The rising star maintains impressive online audience

Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, owns several courses worldwide and often competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically suggested to play and relax," she added.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

However she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in the sport at the competition, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to different demographics, especially reaching the next generation.

The young star maintains substantial online presence and recently launched her own apparel and wellness brand.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
