At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Russian forces has escalated strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "real steps" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

National leaders told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with attacks already disrupting gas facilities.
