Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Windshield
An aircraft ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The plane landed in accordance with standard procedures and all passengers, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a social media post.
Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the Belgian capital at the time.
This event isn't the first occasion that a American defense plane ferrying a top government figure has suffered mechanical issues.
Earlier this year, a American military jet ferrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington after encountering a mechanical problem.
